I wasn't sure it would ever be finished when we first started, but finally,
finally, it is complete.
Every thing starts with a plan, and of course it was adjusted several times before it all started to come together.
We did a lot of shoveling!!

We were getting closer and closer,
until finally, after 3 loads of rock dust and too many trips to Lowe's to count, we are finally finished.

Of course it ended up being bigger than we first planned, but I am so glad we did it.

This weekend, we worked our tails off trying to get our patio done.
I shoveled, and shoveled, and shoveled some more. Then we ran out of rock dust.
Mr. Wonderful already has another load on the way, we are determined to finish it by the weekend.
I can't wait to show you what it looks like.

Who would have thought clearing an area for a patio would be so hard?
So, we are slowly coming along but because we made some changes to the size, and we are not really on an ideal slope, the process for the patio is taking a little longer.
Also, we do have jobs and stuff we have already planned, like vacation, so we know it won't be a quick fix.
But don't worry! (I know you were)
It will get completed.
Plus, it has been super hot here!
Just sayin!
We have completed the first part of the patio.
Now we are ready for Phase 2, the rock dust.
