Sunday Scripture

Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest.  Accept my teachings and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your lives.  The teaching that I ask you to accept is easy; the load I give you to carry is light.

I have plans to start on my patio this weekend, so stay tuned.

The greatest of these is LOVE!!!!

This weekend my friend married her "Prince", after the vows she sang him a song.
There wasn't a dry eye in the house!

I don't know when I have seen a more beautiful wedding, it was perfect for those two beautiful people.

Pillows made easy

This is what my couch looks like,


Great huh?


I was looking around trying to figure out how to add some color, on the cheap.


Then I remembered I had some material left over from when I did this.

So I just got out the old sewing machine, and made the easiest pillows ever.


I just cut the material the size of the old pillows and stuffed them in.

I used the glue gun to finish them off, just folded over the excess material and glued it shut.


It's kind of envelope shaped.


Pretty cute, if I do say so myself, and it didn't cost me one dime.

Summer Goals

I know, I do this every year and unfortunately, I don't always get them done.


But, hey, this year is going to be different, I can feel it!

OK, maybe the heat is getting to me, but I am making a list anyway.

Things I plan to do this summer.

1.  Make a patio under the deck.

2.  Do some painting at moms.

Needs updating.

3.  Take some time just for me.

Last summer was so hectic and just plain crazy, so this summer I am

definitely going to do some relaxing.

Well, that's it, I know it's not really much of a list but I want to make sure I really get them done.  So this way, the pressure isn't so great.
