Noodling?

This weekend we are heading out for a new adventure.


We are going noodling!

I know, I don't get it either, I am told it isn't really like these folks do it, and trust me, I will be watching from the boat, but I am going to take lots of pictures so you can really share the experience with me.


It should be a hoot!

Why Ask?

You know how sometimes, your Mr. Wonderful may start getting on your nerves a little and you think to yourself, it's nothing, just let it go.


Does that happen to anyone else or is it just me?


Anyway, like I said, I just thought you know what it's not a big deal, there are worse things in life so just get over it.


While I am trying, really, really, trying to get over it. Hee! Hee!  And it happens.


You know, he comes up to you and asks.  


"Did I do something wrong?"


OK, if you don't want to know what I am thinking here is a hint.   


Don't ask.


Cause if you do, I am probably going to tell you.


So, yea, I told him.  I said, You know what it really isn't a big deal but . . . . . . . 


Then, the inevitable happens and you won't believe this but somehow, this whole thing turns out to be my fault.  (You saw that coming, didn't you.)


So to any men, married or dating.

Painting, again!

A few weeks ago, I took off to the Goodwill store looking for that special something.

A bench.

But instead I came home with one of those wooden bowls that you see everywhere and super smart bloggers everywhere paint them and make them look awesome.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a before picture because I really didn't think it would be anything special, and I wanted to try the layering of the paint and if it didn't turn out right then it wouldn't matter anyway, right.

But I absolutely love how it turned out!!

Don't you just love her?

She looks dreamy, and now she sits by the door holding our keys.

I moved her so she could be seen in the light, in all her glory.

They look like they are grasshoppers on a tree but then something happens. . . .

They are like locusts, but they sound like aliens.
