School starts soon and baby girl is off for her 1st year in high school.
I can't believe it, I mean, where did the time go. It seems like just yesterday, she was starting preschool. And my baby boy is a senior this year. Yes, I said senior.
(sniffle, sniffle)
Man, somebody is getting old. (Their dad, he has gray hair.)
It seems like just yesterday, (or last week maybe) that I went to that school, now my kids are there.
It's funny, there were times when the days seemed long, but now the days go by so fast.
I hope this is a great year for both of them.
When you're young, school is not always pleasant. But, when you are out of school, I think most people look back and think, hey, that wasn't so bad. I mean after high school is college, then you have to get a JOB. Oooohhhh! You may even have to work EVERY DAY!!!

I remember those back to school days. I LOVED the first week of school. New everything. Ne clothes, new teachers, new school supplies. New start to a new year. Something refreshing about a new, fresh beginning.
ReplyDeleteenjoy every day of this year with your kids, it does go by sooooooooo fast. it seems like just a few days ago i was thinking, this is caison's senior year and now we have taken him to college and we had to leave! it is hard so enjoy these days to the max!
