I'm still here!!

We got home from the mountains Sunday afternoon, and we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off since then.

I have come to the conclusion that when you pick out your tree while standing on the mountain, you need to remember that your living room is much smaller than the great outdoors. Our tree stands about 8 feet tall, and it looks like it's about 4 feet around when you walk in the door and see it.

But that's the fun part of getting your Christmas tree isn't it? I mean that and putting on the lights, of course.

Our trip was amazing!!!! I have some great pictures but I haven't had time to put them on yet due to Basketball, and Senior projects and just stuff.

We went hiking to what felt like the bottom of what felt like Mr. Crumpet, but once we got to the bottom it was breathtaking. So the next day, we hiked to the top. Another beautiful sight. God does good work!! After we recouped from our hiking we went to Sugar Plum Farms to get our tree.

While we were there, both husbands slipped in the mud. Hee! Hee! Hee!
One was laughing at the other one when he fell. Men, they are so silly aren't they?

Pictures to come tomorrow!

  1. Glad you had a great time getting your tree. I thought you might have mentioned how sad you are that your coworker is out and how much you miss her.
